Episode 355: The Death of Stalin

Hello everyone, and welcome to our week in geek.

The quarantine continues on and we continue podcasting.  We're sticking to the formula of one streaming review as we discuss the Death of Stalin on netflix and discuss a few more nerd news topics and postponements. We also continue with our spoiler filled (after end of show) discussion on more of our time with Final Fantasy 7 Remake.  Then we wrap it up with this week's podquestion of "which theatrical release delay were you the most disappointing by?"

Next week's streaming review we're back with a streaming review from our friend Ember, Tickled on Hulu.

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ or HBOgo. Please send your suggestions to us using any of the means below.

Episode 354: Parasite and J&SB Reboot

Hello everyone, and welcome to our week in geek.

The quarantine continues on and we continue podcasting in bold new ways... okay that's a bit too grandiose for the reality of the situation.  But we did decide to do a double header for streaming reviews with Bat's review of Parasite and my review of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. We also discuss the move events being canceled with SDCC and Wondercon, catch up on what we're playing, watching, and doing, along with a spoiler free and spoiler filled (after end of show) discussion on more of our time with Final Fantasy 7 Remake.  Then we wrap it up with this week's podquestion of "give Bat some of your pornstar recommendations ?"

Next week's streaming review we're back to the standard formula by watching 1 movie together.  This time it's Death of Stalin on Netflix.

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ or HBOgo. Please send your suggestions to us using any of the means below.

Episode 353: The Girl With All The Gifts

Hello everyone, and welcome to our week in geek.

While the quarantine still continues we bring you our Streameatrical review of Trolls World Tour, spoiler free only.  We also discuss the new PS5 controller, Disney World furloughing 45k employees, our streaming review of The Girl With All The Gifts, catch up on what we're playing, watching, and doing, along with a spoiler free and spoiler filled (after end of show) discussion on our first few hours with Final Fantasy 7 Remake.  Then we wrap it up with this week's podquestion of "what is the best thing you've done for yourself during the quarantine?"

Next week's streaming review is a little different. Because we keep finding movies that one of us has seen but the other hasn't we decided to divide and conquer.  Bat will be watching Parasite on Hulu, which I've seen, and I will be watching Jay and Silent Bob Reboot on Amazon Prime, which he has seen.   We will come back next week and see what each of us thought about the other's recommendation.

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ or HBOgo. Please send your suggestions to us using any of the means below.

Episode 352: Pet Sematary

Hello everyone, and welcome to our week in geek.

The quarantine continues on so we won't be seeing any new Theatrical releases but we still have stuff to talk about! Bat and I bring you our streaming review of Pet Sematary, catch up on what we're playing, watching, and doing, some very noticeable delays in both the video game world, movie world, some theorizing of what the current seasons of TV will look like  and wrap it up with this week's podquestion of "what is your favorite streaming only TV show?"

Also, if you watched Pet Semetary and want a sensible chuckle, check out this video for a trailer to Dr. Dolittle's Pet Sematary.

Next week's streaming review is The Girl With All The Gifts on Netflix.  It's essentially another zombie movie but I remember from the trailer that it piqued my interest so here's to hoping for a good ride.
