Episode 322: Okay-ish Boys

Hello everyone, welcome to our week in Geek!

We hit the theaters this episode to catch the Good Boys to see if they really are a bunch of good boys... spoilers they aren't but more on that later.  As always we provide you our spoiler free and spoiler filled review of the movie.  We also bring you our streaming review of the Sweet Documentary, Fedup, before diving into some nerd news including: Obi Wan show confirmed for Disney+, Viacom and CBS merger, new Timesplitters and Saints Row games in the mix, and Duck Tales remastered getting pulled. Then we wrap up our show, as always, by answering last weeks podquestion of "what is your favorite work out exercise?"

This week's streaming review was Fed Up. Normally Bat and I really do love us some documentaries but sadly this one really felt like all sugar no filler.  While many had talked this up as a "revelation" neither of us really learned anything that we didn't know.  Besides the percentage thing, that's truly fucked up.  But again, back to the documentary itself. This movie waxed and waned so much that we both got lost on what it's actual message or goal was.  In trying to balance a human story and a history lesson it really did a disservice to both.  While we both agree that there is an addiction problem, we don't think this movie did much favors to bringing an awareness to the problem and recommend you pass on this one.

Next week we're watching the Chinese Sci-Fi epic The Wandering Earth on Netflix.

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBOgo.
