Episode 257: 50 More Shades of Crap

Welcome back to our week in geek.  With Bat back from his Disneyland vacation and me actually caught up on news for once we set out to discuss our streaming review of 50 Shades Darker.  Spoilers, it's pretty terrible.  We discuss some of the ongoing news as well as this month's free shit good shit with the Xbox Games with Gold and PS Plus.  Last but not least we answer last week's podquestion of what is your favorite Disney treat.

This week's streaming review of  suggestion of 50 Shades Darker was exactly what we expected... bad.  I don't really know what we can say more beyond what we said in our review of the first movie.  It's a movie and story without a soul.  The characters have no real charisma and there is no depth in their interactions.  I would argue that most daily soap operas have more drive that this movie.  The fact that the numerous sexual scenes only bore us further really speaks to the movie.  We will see the next movie... if only to warn you not to watch it.  But please, spend your time elsewhere,  do something better with your time.

Since we talked so much about having a lack of substance we are opting to watch
Fruitvale Station on Netflix.  We have heard numerous great things about he movie and about Jordan's performance and can't wait to watch this fan suggestion.

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBOgo.
