Episode 171: Arriving at the Beginning of the End

Hello and a welcome back to your regularly scheduled week in geek. We are back in the theaters again, this time we watch The Arrival.  This is the winter alien movie that genuinely surprised Bat and myself.  We provide you our usual spoiler free review followed by our spoiler filled review, so stay tuned.  Normally we would also provide you our streaming review of No Country for Old Men.  But I had a senior moment and completely forgot to watch the movie.  That means you all have another week to catch up if you want to join in the Cohen Brothers action.  We wrap up the show with a little talk about current events.

Still up for our streaming review is  Mando's suggestion, from a while back, of No Country for Old Men.  This is another one of the Coen Brother's movies that neither of us have seen.  But we soon will.  You can watch along with us on Netlfix.

You can suggest a streaming movie that you want us to watch and review on future episodes that are on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBOgo.

Please send your suggestions to us using any of the means below.

For last week's Podquestion I wanted to know what is your favorite Geek shirt that you own.

Hammer            -  My very first geek shirt, A black Dragon Ball Z shirt
Bat                     - Batman and Robin shirt where Batman is the Hound and Robin is Arya
Mando               - Shirt from Harujuku that features Char and Amuro battling from Gundam
TK-                    - Slusho shirt from Cloverfield
Josh the White  - Inigo Montoya vs Dread Pirate Roberts boxing match

Next week's podquestion was brought to by by Bat, he wanted to know what song do you love but that you cannot listen to anymore.

You can send us your answers to this weeks question as well as any questions you'd like to submit to Facebook, Twitter or email us at Batandhammer@gmail.com.

That is all for this week's Blogcast.  Be sure to tune in next week. Same Hammer Time (promise this time), same Bat Channel.
