To kick it all off we review my streaming suggestion of Chef. Over all we both really enjoyed this one, the food parts esspecially left me hungry for more. Seriously this movie alone has me wanting to take a trip to New Orleans for some Cafe Du Monde for some coffee and beignets. The heart warming story of a father and son connecting over a shared purpose was nice and refreshing (never mind that he was pretty neglecting before). But the over all feeling of a person seeking an outlet for his creativity really resonated with me and I would recommend the movie to you dear listeners for a fun easy movie while you cook something tasty.
Next weeks Streaming Review is Earth to Echo. The movie looks to be a found footage esque movie where a group of kids find a little alien and try to get it home. Feels like a newer version of ET. Will it be good? Will it have recces pieces? Will they replace secret agents guns with walkie talkies? well watch the movie and send in your own review for next weeks episode.
If you want to join us on this streaming movie you can find this movie on Netflix. You can send us your reviews or your suggestions for our next streaming review via Facebook, Twitter or email us at Batandhammer@gmail.com
Also if you were curious about the band that we're talking about in CHAPPiE here's a strange (kinda catchy in a weird way) song from Die Antwood called Fatty Boom Boom. The song's NSFW and the video shows how much they don't like Lady Gaga. Also for the record Yolandi scares the shit out of me in the Yellow and Black make up, it's the stuff of nightmares man.
