Episode 98: Some Beautiful Violence

Guess what guys and gals?  We have another Theatrical Review this week!  Okay well we have half of one, due to that magical stuff called work Bat was unable to join me for our review of Kingsman: the Secret Service. So there will only be a spoiler free review here, didn't want to spoil the fun for Bat.

Also this week we have  Streaming Review as well as some new nerd news: The Hitman Trailer, Borderland Funco figures, more details about Starz Evil Dead series, 300 team to take on Robotech movie, John Wick 2 and Spiderman announced to be joining the MCU.

This weeks suggestions was Horns.  We didn't know much about this movie going in besides the concept and that Radcliffe was in it.  Over all we really enjoyed the movie becuase of how it carried out the strange demonic twist on a murder mystery.  I really felt surprised by how good this movie was, though not without it's flaws.  Both Bat and I gave it 3 out of 5 stars on Netflix and would recommend this movie to friends who are looking for something a little different.

Speaking of something different.  Did you ever want to see a mustachioed Joaquin Phoenix
try and flirt with the voice of a digital Scarlett Johansson?  Well regardless of your answer that is this weeks Streaming Review, Her.

If you want to join us on this streaming movie you can find this movie on HBOgo. You can send us your reviews or your suggestions for our next streaming review via Facebook, Twitter or email us at Batandhammer@gmail.com
