Episode 85: Escape from this movie while you still can

If you are joining us this week after watching the streaming review selection of "Escape From Tomorrow" I am so, so sorry.  Phew as doozies go this one definitely is a stinker.  But regardless of how bad this movie is we bring you our review of Escape from Tomorrow as well as the review of "Sharknado" which is also a bad movie, but in a good way.

Continuing with our Horror theme for this month we are going to be watching the new "Carrie" movie starring Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore.  This movies is a remake of the classic 1976 movie adaptation of Stephen Kings book, which I have neither seen or read.
This movie was on our list of movies to see in the theater and seemed to slip off our radar so we are excited to finally check it out.

If you want to join us on our second horror movie of the month you can find this movie on Netflix. You can send us your reviews or your suggestions for our next streaming review via Facebook, Twitter or email us at Batandhammer@gmail.com

This weeks Nerd News includes: Marvel Experience coming to Phoenix, Lego Batman getting its own movie, Guardians of the Galaxy getting its own cartoon, Labyrinth getting a sequel, Halo Nightfall's starting date, Crouching Tiger 2 day and date streaming with IMAX release, Dare Devil's first costume revealed, Powers trailer and Tomorrowland trailer.

Here are the answers to last weeks Podquestion of do you think that Marvel should have settled with the Jack Kirby estate?

Tristan, Bat and I all agreed that we think if there was any credit to be given it should be name only in the credits and that the monetary sum should't have been given since he was under work for hire and was already paid for his work.

Our next Podquestion asks what is your favorite horror game?

We want to hear your answers so let us know via Facebook, Twitter or email us at Batandhammer@gmail.com

That is all for this week's Blogcast. Be sure to tune in next week Same Hammer Time , same Bat Channel.
