Episode 75: Last Podcasts on Mars

Sorry friends no theatrical release this week but we do have our Streaming Review of the  Last Days on Mars from last week.  This movie really has some production dollars in it from all of the CG and set design that it's almost hard to believe it wasn't some bigger budget summer movie.  Okay maybe that's overstating it a bit, but the movie is beautiful to look at and has some notable actors such as  and  (Casey Jones).

Both of us have an affinity for outer space movies and this one really had me at the first 15-20 mins of the movie.  But as soon as the first space zombie appeared it lost me.  Personally this movie draws parallels with Doctor Who's "The Water of Mars" with it's zombifying space bacteria and their lust for water.  The movie was okay for a one time viewing but I'd have a hard time recommending anyone to spend their time on this one.  I gave 2 stars while Bat gave it 3.

Our next Streaming Review comes care of the Fanboy, Stuck in Love.
And since neither of us have any clue what this movie is about I'm just going to site IMDB on this one.
"An acclaimed writer, his ex-wife, and their teenaged children come to terms with the complexities of love in all its forms over the course of one tumultuous year."

This movie can be found on Netflix so If you want to be a part of the review next week make sure to send us your reviews or your suggestions for our next streaming review via Facebook, Twitter or email us at Batandhammer@gmail.com
